Cheesy Jalapeño Poppers

Hi again,

I had a lot of cheese in my fridge and thought, hmmm, what can I make with different cheeses that's yummy and fast? JALAPEÑO POPPERS of course :D

I am a spicy food lover so I do not mind the spiciness of jalapeños but if you are concerned about that, taste the raw jalapeños before you prepare them.

Ingredients:
4 Large Jalapeños (smaller ones coat better but I'm a fatty for life)
Bread crumbs(your favorite)
Flour, salt, pepper
1 Whole egg
1/4 cup milk
Half a package of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups of your favorite shredded cheese

First prepare the cream cheese filling by mixing the cream cheese with the shredded cheese until you get a thick paste.

Wash the jalapeños and cut them up to take the seeds and veins out (which takes away from the spiciness and makes them enjoyable)

Prepare your little breading station by putting flour with salt and pepper in a bowl, the egg and milk with salt and pepper in another bowl, and finally the bread crumbs bowl.

Fill your jalapeños with the cream cheese. Dip each jalapeño in flour first, followed by the egg mix and coat it in the crumbs. Repeat the last two steps once more so the jalapeños are fully coated and have the yummy crunchiness.

Heat oil in a tall small pot and add some bread crumbs. When the oil starts to sizzle, add your jalapeño poppers two at a time.

Preheat your oven to 350F. Once the poppers are fried, top them w extra shredded cheese or parmesan and bake them in the oven for 5-7 minutes.

Allow them to cool off a little and enjoy them as appetizers or  as your actual meal. They're delicious and once you get the hang of it, they are a very fast and filling snack to prepare at home. Wow your friends with your master foodie skills (;

Until next time, I hope you all have a wonderful evening(:

XOXO,
